BOOK CLUB EVENING

When: Thursday, November 21st

Time: 6:30pm

Where: Library Business Center

Our Library Book Club selection for November is Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond.  In his 2017 Pulitzer Prize non-fiction winner, Matthew Desmond, a Princeton sociologist and MacArthur “Genius” follows eight families in Milwaukee as they each struggle to keep a roof over their heads. Evicted transforms our understanding of poverty and economic exploitation while providing fresh ideas for solving one of twenty-first-century America’s most devastating problems. New members are always welcome. Please contact the library for further information.
