Join local seamstress Cathlene Hartson as she teaches the basics of quilt making.  You will learn the techniques of quilting and work on your own quilt project.  Register early; we have six available sewing machines and each class is limited to 8 students.

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

¨ Strips of fabric 1 1/2 inches to 3 1/2 inches wide and 18 inches long.

We used 18 strips but you can customize to the size of your table.

Fabric back (depends on your size)

· Thin cotton or cotton blend quilt batting

We used 4 yards of rickrack (but it depends on how long your runner will be.)
