QUILTING/SEWING PROJECT - FOUR PATCH QUILT

Join local seamstress Cathlene Hartson as she teaches the basics of quilt making.  You will learn the techniques of quilting and work on your own quilt project.  Register early; we have six available sewing machines and each class is limited to 8 students.

We will be making a four-patch quilt.  Finished quilt: 40″ x 56″ or the size of your choice

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

· 1 1/4 yard background print

· At least 5 different 1/2 yards for contrasting four-patch blocks    

· 2 ½ yards backing fabric (for the back, this can be one of  the colors.

· Padding and thread
