Join us as SUNY history professor Dr. Gaylynn Welch discusses the evolution of the Women’s Suffrage movement in New York State from early activism through the successful referendum that granted women the right to vote in 1917. Dr. Welch’s main area of interest is U.S. women's history, with a particular interest in the Women’s Suffrage Movement. She has published extensively on her area of expertise.
